1958 - 2024

  Marianne Myszczyszyn was born in Swan River, MB on May 10, 1958. She passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, at the age of 65 years in Selkirk, MB, formerly of Bowsman, MB. She was the daughter of Frank and Mary Myszczyszyn and was predeceased by her parents and brother-in-laws Eric Egert and Barry Goodman.

 Marianne is survived by her sister Gloria Egert, sister Lorraine Goodman, brother Dale (Linda) Myszczyszyn, brother Bernie (Glenda) Myszczyszyn, sister Carolyn Myszczyszyn, and 12 nieces and nephews.

 Marianne attended school in Bowsman, MB, and graduated with honors from the Swan Valley Regional Secondary School in Swan River, MB. During her school years, she was active in most sports and was enrolled in the 4-H program, where she developed her sewing and cooking skills, often working alongside her mother to enhance these abilities. Following her graduation, Marianne enrolled in the nursing program at the University of Winnipeg. Unfortunately, her studies had to be discontinued due to her mental illness. Despite this challenge, Marianne accepted her illness for many years until she was admitted to the Selkirk Mental Health Center on September 11, 2002.

Marianne was very blessed during her illness to be cared for by many wonderful doctors, staff, and fellow patients at the Selkirk Mental Health Center, where she became part of that family for over 20 years. She will be remembered for being a caring, generous, and strong-willed person who was well respected. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
