Helen Paull
1928 –2019
Our mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 90.
She is survived by her two children — Dwayne Caverly (Judy) and Dianna Domareski (Marjan); as well as six grandchildren — Sandra (nee Philipp) and Ian Barnes, Tracy (nee Philipp) and John Cargo, Trina Philipp, Quinn Caverly (Tara), Shawna Domareski, Michael and Kristen Domareski; and seven great grandchildren, Matthew Wiewel, Donavin Grouette, Joel Kipling, Bentley, Maxx and Rowan Domareski and Eric Caverly.
Helen was predeceased by her first husband George Caverly in 1999 and her best friend and husband, Delbert Edwin Paull in 1998.
Helen was born and raised in Ridgedale, Saskatchewan, eventually moving to Bowsman where she met and married George Caverly.
Helen loved a good garage sale and was always one of the first ones to show up. She also loved all her animals, Browsky, Chewy, Prince, Howie and a turtle to name a few. She also had a green thumb and loved her gardens especially when they were filled with her flowers. Helen was known to also love socializing and I don’t think she’d ever refuse a “cold one”.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 15, 2019 (family only) followed by a luncheon at the Bowsman Legion at 12:30 p.m. for anyone wishing to join the family to celebrate Helen’s life. Rev. Kevin Sprong officiated.
She will be missed by family and numerous friends.
Don’t cry because it’s over,
smile because it happened,
then raise a glass and toast her.
If friends so wish, donations can be made in Helen’s name to the Swan Valley Animal Protection League.
