Sorry this is so late. We got back home from our northern trip. Really sorry not to see Jim one more time. He would have been pleased to know we used the diamond willow walking sticks, with bells attached, that he gave to us several years ago. We used then one several hikes up north, and never saw any bears! They were effective. Many memories of an "Aggie" roommate from 1959-60, with whom I shared a birthdate, Dec 5. Ernie
