Adina was born in Minitonas, MB on October 31, 1935, on the family farm outside of town in Sinclair River District, a “Halloween Baby” as she often said. She lived there until she was about 7 years and then the family moved to Minitonas where her father opened a store. She recounted many fond memories of helping her father in the store, and of life as a child in Minitonas where she completed high school.
As a young woman she lived for a few years in Winnipeg and worked for Manitoba Hydro. She often told stories of this time and of a trip she and her cousins and girlfriends took to Los Angeles, New York and Montreal around the late 1950’s. Eventually she moved back to Minitonas, working at the TD Bank and married Jack Eisner in April of 1969. Later she, Jack and Cyndi moved to a farm 7 miles north of Minitonas. Eventually she and Jack sold the farm and built a house in Minitonas where they lived for over 30 years. After Jack’s passing in 2018 Adina moved near Winnipeg to be closer to her daughter. She eventually resided in Middle Church Home in West St. Paul until her passing.
