Amanda Elizabeth Ferland was born on January 14, 1994, to Jeanne Ferland.

Amanda spent a brief time with her mother Jeanne in Portage la Prairie before moving back home to Briggs Spur with her grandparents Olive Ferland and George Chartrand. She spent her childhood growing up with her older sister Jackie Ferland and younger brother Dennis Ferland.

Amanda then had her beautiful daughter Jeanne Ferland, whom she named after her mother. Her daughter was Amanda’s number one priority. They loved going on walks and having movie nights.

She attended school in Minitonas and Swan River. She graduated in 2015 and her family was very proud of her.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She had a kind soul and was always there when you needed her.

Sadly, Amanda experienced tremendous loss in her 29 years. Her mother Jeanne Ferland passed away in 2004. Her grandfather George in 2017. Her younger brother Dennis in 2020 and her Grandmother Olive in 2021.

Amanda is predeceased by her mother Jeanne Ferland. Brother Dennis Ferland. Grandparents Olive Ferland and George Chartrand. Great grandparents Art and Lizzie Ferland and Fred and Madeline Chartrand.

Amanda is survived by her precious daughter Jeanne Ferland, sister Jackie Ferland, uncles Calvin (Christine), Dave, Gordon (Tracey), and Brad, aunt Brenda (William), 3 nieces Faith, Kaydence, and Teresa, and nephew Dreyven, numerous cousins and great aunts and uncles.
