Angela Moore (Orosz) Obituary

 Angela Moore (Orosz)

1974 - 2026

Angela Moore (Orosz) was born on July 5, 1974 in Swan River, Manitoba. She passed peacefully at the age of 51 years on Sunday, April 12, 2026 after a valiant effort to overcome cancer.

Angela was a woman who loved life. We didn’t love Angela with just our mind or heart; we loved her with our souls.

Angela was the daughter of Rosaria and Alex Orosz. She has now reunited with her mother and father, two nephews and various family members in heaven.

Left to cherish is her daughter, Miranda Moore who was faithfully by her side through her illness.

Angela was like a daughter to her sister Marion and brother-in-law David. She was more like a sister to her nephews Christopher and Heather and Clayton and Tracey. She also leaves brothers Steve, Henry and their families.

Angela will also be lovingly remembered by her partner James Kilgour and his two sons Justin and Riley. James and Angela were nearing retirement and looking forward to spending more time at the cottage.

She will also be missed by her father-in-law David Kilgour, sister and brother-in-law Jo-Anne and Acacio, and their son Aidan.

…and many, many other nieces and nephews, family members and friends. Angela was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.

After high school Angela moved to Winnipeg where she met and married Micheal Moore. This is where they raised their daughter Miranda until they moved to Lac du Bonnet.

Angela’s greatest pride and joy will always be her loving daughter. They shared many mother and daughter moments. One of their favourite things to do with their free time would be to tidy the house or yard while dancing along to music.

Angela held various administrative positions. Angela worked for Great West Life for 20 + years, Transcona Optical and later for the government. When asked - Angela said her greatest accomplishment was helping clients and she really enjoyed her co-workers.

Angela later met James where they hit it off and became instant friends. It turned from a friendship and evolved into a loving relationship.

Angela was always welcoming and smiling, you could always count on receiving an Angela hug. Angela was always happy, energetic, outdoorsy and adventurous. She loved the time her and James would spend at their cabin in Lac Du Bonnet. She loved boating, sitting by the fire and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Angela also loved all flowers. She really adored planting and growing her Gerber Daisies and Sunflowers.

Angela deeply loved her family and friends. Her deepest wish when asked was to bring joy and gratitude into as many lives as possible.

We ask for your love and support during this time. We wish for all of those to whom Angela brought joy, to continue to find joy in life. We are grateful for the memories we have and reach for them to comfort us.

Angela had so much life left to live, so many sunrises to wake up to, so many memories to make, so much love to receive.

It will forever break our hearts that she didn't get more time. Losing Angela will change our family forever.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Cancer Care and Riverview Health Centre staff for their compassion and care to Angela during her cancer treatment and last hours.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
