On July 26, 2023 Bev passed away at the Swan Valley Health Centre.
Bev was born September 2, 1937, the second oldest of five children, to Charlie and Elizabeth Brandson.
After farming in the Big Woody area he took up trucking which became a life-long career. From several small towns in Manitoba and Saskatchewan he moved north into the North West Territories in 1969 where he remained until retirement, moving back to his hometown in 2009. Many memories and friends were made, while seeing country most of us will never see, hauling fuel and supplies on ice roads to northern mines.
Bev enjoyed travel, making trips to Newfoundland, Texas, Iceland, and cruises through the Panama and to Alaska with family. His home was his castle and he was content to enjoy his game shows and world news on TV and keeping in touch with family and friends by phone.
Bev was predeceased by his wife Myrna (2010) and daughter Shauna (1967), his parents, his brothers Bruce and Ralph, his sister Muriel (Bob).
He was loved and will be dearly missed by his brother Milton (Maureen), sisters-in-law Louise Brandson, Margaret Brandson, Wanitta Stewart, Marilyn Adams, Dolly (Fred) Johnson, brothers-in-law Clare and Bob Erven and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
