Beverly Anne Gordon
1945 -2025
The family of Beverly is deeply saddened to announce her passing on October 22, 2025, at the age of 80. She passed away peacefully with Kim by her side.
Bev was born March 26, 1945, to Clarence and Alice Gordon. During her early years, the family lived in several communities, including Benito, The Pas, where her sister June was born, Benito again, then they moved to Clearwater, BC, then back to Benito and then Swan River.
After Bev finished high school, she began her career in bookkeeping. Bev worked for the Swan Valley Co-op and later at the Swan Valley PCH when it first opened. Her career took her north to Hay River, NWT, where she worked in payroll for the local hospital. An experience she fondly reminisced about even in recent days. Bev also worked with Betty & Ed Hiebert at Keystone Upholstery, always taking pride in a job well done.
Faith played a meaningful role in Bev’s life. In her younger years, she was active in her church youth groups and had a strong passion for supporting missions. Though she had hoped to join a mission trip, health challenges prevented her from going. Bev found great comfort and joy in reading her Bible and her love inspired romance novels, as well as spending hours working on puzzles, especially during her time at the Heritage Manor.
Bev will be lovingly remembered by her sister, June (Bill), nieces Barb (Grant), Kim (Gary), great nieces Megan, Michelle, and Elise, Uncle Henry, Aunt Pauline, and many cousins.
Bev was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Alice Gordon, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Swan Valley Health Centre and the PCH for the kindness and care they provided to Bev over the years.
If friends so desire, memorial donations in memory of Beverly may be made to a Charity of one’s choice.
