On the morning of October 11, 2025, Allen Blake Ferriss passed away peacefully at the Swan Valley Health Centre, at the age of 70 years.
Blake was born on September 17, 1955, to Pauline and Gordon Ferriss at the Swan River Hospital.
His early school years were spent at Hall School and then on to high school at Swan Valley Regional Secondary School in Swan River, MB.
Blake never married and spent his adult years doing missionary/ ministerial work and writing. He was very proud to have published and one of his favourites was a poem called Heaven’s Call.
Blake was a big sports fan particularly NFL.
Blake is survived by a brother Bryan (Donna) of Bowsman, MB, a brother-in-law Wayne McMaster of Stonewall, MB and 21 nieces and nephews.
Blake was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Pauline Ferriss and sister Darlene McMaster.
