It is with profound sadness that the family of Courtney Corinna Yelinek (Pierrepont) announces her sudden passing on March 22, 2024, at the age of 28. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 7 years Paul, parents: Calvin & Corinna Pierrepont; siblings: Madison McLaughlin (Scott) & Brenden Pierrepont (Avery); grandparents: Marilyn Pierrepont (Leonard), Beverley Murray (Eugene), and Dwight & Louanne Thompson; aunts & uncles: Dayna & Peter Bresky, and Barb & Larry Beadle; Cousins: Karley Butler (Dylan), Matthew Beadle (Paige), Laine Bresky (Logan), Luke Bresky (Kyllie); father and mother-in-law: Larry & Evelyn Yelinek; brothers-in-law: Christopher & Devon Yelinek; as well as many other relatives, friends and her animals; Misty, Trixie, and Pheonix.
Courtney was predeceased by her grandfathers: Leonard Pierrepont and Eugene Teslia; great grandparents: Fred & Drusilla Pierrepont, Mary & John Way, Evelyn & Stephen Thompson, and Kennith & Eileen Murray.
Courtney was born on July 2, 1995, at the Swan Valley Hospital. Courtney attended Bowsman Elementary School. Upon graduating grade 8, she attended high school at Swan Valley Regional Secondary School. Courtney graduated from Grade 12 in 2013. It was in high school when she was 16, that she met her future husband, Paul.
Courtney attended the University of Brandon for 2 years for the Bachelor of Nursing program right out of high school. She later decided that was not for her and applied to the Licensed Practical Nursing Program at ACC. While waiting she worked for 2 years till a spot became available in 2018. She attended for 2 years with her sister Madison and graduated in 2020.
Paul and Courtney tied the knot in Bowsman on July 9, 2016. They moved back to the valley in 2020 and she started working at the Swan Valley Personal Care Home. In 2021 she transferred to the hospital to further her skills on the ACIS unit.
Courtney was an adventurous woman. She enjoys skiing, quadding, camping, waterskiing, downhill skiing, and traveling. She and Paul enjoyed motorcycle adventures around Canada and the United States. She was not afraid of hard work either. She enjoyed gardening, canning, farming, and chasing cows. Courtney cherished time spent with her family, her friends and especially her friend Kellie’s little ones.
