It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our father Daniel Wayne Stilborn.
Danny was predeceased by both of his parents John and Charlotte “Dill” and leaves to mourn his brothers and sister Bob (Adrienne), Carol (Ray), Jack (Val) and Ken. He also leaves to mourn his daughters Kari (Peter), Michelle (Colin), Tanna (Chris), grandchildren Craig (Kaylee), Brock, Carley, Trent, Selena, and Brienne., great grandchildren Lucas, Harper, and Lillian
Danny was born in Swan River on September 5, 1950 and grew up in the little Woody District where he helped out on the family farm, and attended school (well for the most part J) but in his words “I went to Grade 9; walked in the front door and straight out the back”. Hahaha
Danny met the love of his life Karen in Swan River, and they were married on February 19th, 1972, and together they raised 3 girls. Danny's passion was driving truck and he did this for 50+ years. Danny always had an inappropriate joke to tell, or comment to make. In 2019 he gave up his class one and became a full-time grandpa.
Danny loved his family and always talked highly of his children and grandchildren. He was devastated to lose his beloved wife Karen in July of 2022. We hope that one day, when we pass on, our children can look back like we can and tell funny stories about us, and talk about how we loved each other, then, like our father, we will have lived a complete life.
In keeping with Danny's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held
