Darlene Mary Beauchamp

On November 11, 1954, Darlene was born in Swan River, MB, and was raised primarily in Briggs Spur, MB. 

Darlene married Peter Beauchamp on June 2, 1979, together they raised 4 children Peter John, Olivia, Trevor (Shauna) and Billy Jack.  Darlene and Peter went on to raise their grandchildren:  Mishkiki, Lorrie, Tyler, Jayden and Danny Beauchamp.  Darlene’s grandchildren were her pride and joy, she spent countless hours on driving trips to school and functions.  Darlene also loved to spend time with her other grandchildren:  Nyesha Constant, Shaquelle Beardy, Katie Guiboche and Reyes.   Darlene had to two great grand-daughters Kyleigha and Moriah. 

Darlene loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.  On holidays and special occasions, she would love to cook big meals for her family.  Darlene enjoyed living in Briggs Spur and enjoyed that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren could enjoy the peace and tranquility at Briggs Spur. 

In May 1981 Darlene graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree from Brandon University.  Darlene teaching work took her to several communities Pine Creek, Kitwancool, British Columbia and finally a consultant for Winnipeg School Division.

Darlene is predeceased by her parents Maggie Chartrand & Lloyd Spence, her grandmother Maryann Chartrand, grandfather Henry Chartrand and Uncle Fred Chartrand, brothers Gary and Willard.

On September 23, 2022, Darlene passed away at Brandon General Hospital. 

In keeping with Darlene’s wishes, cremation has taken place and celebration of her life will take place in the New Year.
