1961 - 2023

On May 24, 2023, Debra Mae Cathcart peacefully passed away at the Swan Valley Health Centre.

Debbie was born at the Swan River Hospital on May 31, 1961. She grew up in the valley and moved to Winnipeg after graduation.

Debbie met Bill Cathcart and they were married in September 1987. In September of 1994, their son Carson was born.

Debbie worked for 30 years at the Grace Hospital in several areas, always providing direct patient care.

Debbie loved spending time at the lake, camping, fishing, and bonfires.

She is survived by son Carson, mother Elizabeth Yablonski, father Edward Yablonski, sister Joyce (Doug) Livingston, nephew Darden Connolly and special friend Karma.

In keeping with Debra’s wishes, A Private Family Service was held. If fiends so desire, memorial donations in Debra’s memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation 675 McDermot Avenue Room ON1160 Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9.
