Delbert Bourassa Obituary

Today we honour the life of Delbert “Ron” Bourassa. A man who had a “heart of
gold” and stepped up as our rock whenever we needed him. A Brother, Uncle and
friend to us all. So, with this eulogy, we will try to give this most humble man the
recognition he rightfully deserves.

Ron was born to Ambrose and Veronique Bourassa February 7, 1951. He spent his
early years of life at Red Deer Lake, Manitoba until he moved to Barrows where
he remained until 2021.

Ron was a man who was always there for family. He made sure that we had
whatever we needed. He taught us all different ways of life, helping us cope with
the heartaches when they came our way or advice to help guide us. He brought
out the laughter when we needed it as he was always laughing and teasing
someone. His way of bringing light back into the darkness for some of us.

Our uncle and brother were a man who liked to sit outside day or night. Sitting
with him at these times and having deep conversations, is a side we all got to see
of him. So, Uncle, you are no longer gazing at the stars; you are one of them now.

Ron was predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Veronique, brothers Gordon,
Steve and Ted, sisters Rose, Elaine and Hilda, brother-in-law Clifford and Ed sister-
in-law Phyllis, great nephew Shane and great nieces Madison and Morgan.

He leaves to mourn sisters Maggie and Marline (Gary), brother David along with
numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
