It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Gwen Tocher (nee Willey), on January 22, 2024, in Swan River, Manitoba. Donna passed away at the age of 63 years.

She was the wife of Paul Tocher, who she married on May 19, 1990, at the Lutheran Church in Winnipeg Manitoba. They shared 33 years of marriage together. On February 9, 1984, and June 29, 1992, respectively, she welcomed her two children, who were the most important part of her life.

Born in Winnipeg Manitoba, she was the daughter of Dennis and Doreen Willey and the youngest of four children. The family lived in Winnipeg till Donna was 14 years old, then they moved to Calgary, Alberta until returning to Winnipeg when she was 17 years old. She later graduated from the school of cosmetology as a hairdresser.  

Donna was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Gillam Manitoba, where she lived for 12 years with her family. She was an avid bowler, curler and enjoyed curling in both Women’s and mixed curling leagues. Her hobbies included gardening, butchering meat that Paul brought home and spending summers at the cabin.  

Donna was predeceased by her father, Dennis Willey. She will be remembered by her loving husband Paul, her children Chad and Shawna, her grandchild Gabriel, her mother Doreen and her three siblings David (Brenda), Dwain (Diana) and Dolores (Larry). She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
