Edward Ethier

1940 – 2020

Edward was born in Bellsite, Manitoba on November 17, 1940. He was married to Mary Wasylciw on November 15, 1963.

Ed was a miner most of his life and a hobby farmer. He was quite the character and usually had a joke to tell. Ed loved to socialize and dance at the coffee houses. He spent many hours at the farm listening to the radio and playing his treasured record albums. It especially made his day when someone stopped by to visit at the farm.

On July 29, 2020 Mr. Edward John Ethier of Bellsite, Manitoba passed away at the age of 79 years.

He will be greatly missed by his six children Sherry Anderson of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Renee (Tim) Ethier of Dugald, Manitoba, Lionel (Lisa) of St. Norbert, Manitoba, Lucien (Lindsay) of Brandon, Manitoba, Serge (Deanne) of Spruce Grove, Alberta, and Marlon of Red Deer, Alberta; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews; four siblings Adelard of Swan River, Manitoba, Betty Doan of Mafeking, Manitoba, Harold of Thompson, and Sharon Shire of Swan River.

Ed was predeceased by his beloved wife Mary; parents Adelard and Annie; sisters Nora, Molly, Donalda; brothers Horace and Hank.
