Edward Norman Pacamaniuk
1957 – 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Pacamaniuk announce his passing on January 22, 2021 at the age of 63.
Edward was born in the Swan Valley Hospital on July 9, 1957 to Walter and Alice Pacamaniuk.
Edward lived all his life on the family farm in Minitonas. He loved being a rancher; his cattle were his life. Edward had many friends, and they were richer by knowing him. He spent many hours on the phone visiting. Edward will be remembered for his hard work, kindness, generosity (with fault), hospitality, and taking pleasure spending time with family and friends. Edward was very heart broken when he lost his brother, John. They were always together and known as “the boys”. Edward always had a story to tell and added humour to brighten a person’s day, no matter how bad it was. His genuine smile will be missed by everyone.
Waiting for Edward are his brother John; his dad Walter; grandparents Dmitry and Justina Pacamaniuk, and Nick and Annie Sholudko.
Left to cherish Edward’s memory are his loving mother Alice; brother Walter (Marilyn) Pacamaniuk; and sister Joan (Rick) Kreshewski; nieces Sheena (Erick) Griffith, Melodie (Daniel) Sabeski, Keera (Cramer) Coulthart, and Mikayla Kreshewski; great nieces Kierstin Griffith and Merritt Sabeski; great nephews Everett Griffith, Lincoln and Levi Coulthart; Auntie Anne Sholudko; many friends; and most important, his fur companion Carl.
Rest easy Edward, you are greatly missed. “The Boys” have gone for a ride.
If friends so desire, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
In keeping with Edward’s wishes, cremation has taken place and his ashes were laid to rest in the Minitonas Cemetery, Minitonas, Manitoba.
