It is with deep sadness the family mourns the loss of Elizabeth Chartrand. She was a loving, caring, compassionate woman who will be missed for days, months, and years to come. She was a woman who put others needs before her own. There were no complaints from her about any ailments and pain she endured.
The fond memories of her and her siblings in childhood would vary. Such as her wanting to be a cashier and her two younger sisters would pretend to buy groceries from the store. Another memory is of when she disciplined one sister for fighting with another sister and then sent her to bed. There are many memories of Elizabeth from childhood, that will be cherished in the thoughts of her siblings.
Elizabeth loved family gatherings of any size. She would look forward to being around family so she could engage in conversation and bond. Also, it was another reason to prepare dinner if she had to. Any holiday that involved cooking a turkey would be at the top. This way she could make cabbage rolls and potato salad. She had them perfected to a T.
The work Elizabeth did always involved interacting with people and counting money. From working in banks, casino’s, call centers, grocery stores, and her last position at a gaming center. It would be safe to say she did what she desired in the work force. She loved helping customers with their needs whatever it might be, preparing meals for small dinners, or large feasts at gatherings.
Elizabeth lived life to the fullest and enjoyed the smaller things in life. She enjoyed playing computer games, relaxing, and watching Netflix. Her favorite drink was green tea, almost daily. Her favorite hobbies were collecting movies, books, and clothes. Her life will be cherished, honored, and remembered as if she was still living among us.
