Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Clark

On July 14, 2024, Elizabeth (Liz) Clark of Swan River passed away at the age of 89 at the Swan Valley Lodge just 5 days short of her 90th birthday.

Liz is survived by her two sons:  William (Colleen) of Swan River, MB and Harold “Howie” (Janna) of Stonewall, MB, grandchildren and great grandchildren Megan(Jon) Kosolowsky, Jace, Kane, Maci; Chantal (Matt) Clark, Weston; Alyssa (Nic) Clark; Adelle Clark.  She is also survived by special friend Arthur Hrappstead of Swan River and her sister Mary Arndt of Arborg, MB as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband William “Bill” Clark, sister Bertha McDonald and brother Harry Bushenlonga.

Liz was born July 19, 1934, in Swan River.  She and Bill resided in the town of Swan River until 1970 when they moved to the R.M. of Swan River.  Following Bill’s passing Liz moved back to town in the fall of 2009.  Unfortunately, due to her health declining she moved to the Swan Valley Lodge in the fall of 2021 where she remained until her passing.

Liz was known by many as she owned Elizabeth’s Beauty Bar for 50 plus years. She was actively involved in the Catholic Church and enjoyed many hobbies and socializing.
