Harry had many interests. He enjoyed farming, tinkering in the garage and was passionate about gardening. He sought perfection in everything he did and felt that way about his job. Dad took immense pride in his job, he always made sure that customers service came first; and their needs were fulfilled. He was always sure his department was neat and tidy. Dad was well known in the community and commonly asked to make keys and his customer service was greatly appreciated.
His saying was, “If you can’t do it right, then don’t do it at all!”
Other hobbies included a collection of beautiful tropical fish, and classic antique cars, which dad and Michael enjoyed together. Alongside a fascination for rocks, that was shared by adventures with his daughter Beverly.
Dad enjoyed spending time with his family. We would go fishing, bike riding, blueberry picking and picnics at Birch River Park.
Dad loved spending quality time with his two grandsons. Mathew would spend part of the summer with grandpa, going on adventures and playing in the park. As well as the occasional bike ride across town. Jonathan loved going to grandpa’s house, playing in the toy box... he loved wagon rides and helping grandpa stack firewood.
Our dad was a devout Catholic and had a strong Christian faith. He went to church every Sunday. Dad would read the bible and was faithful to saying the Rosary daily.
Everything you have taught us; we will never forget! We love you very much, “Rest in Peace Dad.” You were loved as a father, a husband, a grandpa, and a friend. You will be dearly missed, until we meet again!
