Today we honour the life of Hilda Bourassa. She was a truly amazing woman who was the kindest and most loving person. We can honestly say she was the best sister, aunt and friend to us all and to try and do justice right by her in this short eulogy will be impossible.
Hilda was born to Ambrose and Veronique Bourassa April 21, 1952. She spent her childhood years at Red Deer Lake, Manitoba until 1975 when she moved to Barrows. Barrows was her home for many years. A home where she had many family and friends surrounding her. As well as family and friends having the pleasure of her daily visits.
Hilda moved to Swan Valley Lodge in the latter years of life. It is there she made many more dear friends and enjoyed passing time with crafts and activities. Hilda made sure to be in touch with family and friends with her daily phone calls. Phone calls that will now be replaced by loving memories.
Everyone who was fortunate enough to know her felt the warmth and happiness she brought. We loved her more than words could possibly say, and she will live on in our hearts forever more.
Hilda was predeceased by her parents Ambrose and Veronique, brothers Gordon, Steve and Ted, sisters Rose and Elaine, Brother-in-law Clifford and Ed, Sister-in-law Phyllis, great nephew Shane and great nieces Madison and Morgan. She leaves to mourn sisters Maggie and Marline (Gary), brothers Ronald and David along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. As well as her very special friends Linda Barker and Bev Offenberger.
