Janice was born January 14, 1966 in Norquay, Saskatchewan. She was the youngest of two children and enjoyed growing up on the farm. She loved spending time outside helping anyway she could. Playing softball was a favorite.
Janice attended Norquay School from grade one to twelve. After graduation she attended Business school in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Janice met her future husband, Glen through family friends. They married on January 19, 1985 and were happily married for 36 years. Janice and Glen were blessed with a daughter, Ashley on January 30, 1985.
They made their home in Whitebeech, Saskatchewan where they lived for 20 Years, moving into Swan River, Manitoba in 2005.
Janice began working at the Westwood Inn and changed careers to the Swan Valley Co-op, where she spent 10 years working, and making great friendships.
Janice always enjoyed spending time outside in the garden tending her flowers, crocheting, baking for the holidays, and spending time with friends and family. She truly enjoyed a good game of cards.
Janice is survived by her loving husband Glen, only child Ashley Kosolowsky of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Parents Stanley and Florence Holodniuk of Arabella, Saskatchewan, brother Stephen (Tracey) Holodniuk of Arabella, Saskatchewan, Sister-in-law Leona (Floyd) Helgason of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Nieces and nephews Justin and Robyn, Kolby, Callie, Derrick and Evan.
Janice is predeceased by John and Anne Holodniuk, Spiridon and Kate Turta.
