Karen Stilborn

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Stilborn (nee Poole) a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. In 2015 Karen was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and after a courageous battle, passed away on July 7, 2022, at the Swan Valley Health Center.

Karen was born on February 19, 1954, to Harry and Laura Poole (nee Alford) in Swan River, MB, she was the 3rd of 7 children. Karen loved working, bowling, curling, and gardening, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Karen leaves to mourn her passing Danny, her husband of 50 years, daughters Kari (Peter), Michelle (Colin), and Tanna (Chris). She also leaves behind her grandchildren Craig (Kaylee), Brock, Carley, Trent, Selena, and Brienne, as well as great grandchildren Lucas, Harper, and Lillian, her mom, brothers, sisters, in laws, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
