Keith Elvin Bailey

  The family wishes to announce with sadness the passing of Keith Elvin Bailey with family by his side, on March 25, 2023, at the Swan Valley Health Centre at 83 years of age.   Keith was born on December 27, 1939, in Winnipeg, MB and moved to the Swan River Valley in 1977. Here he operated his business and purchased a cabin at Wellman Lake.

   Keith led by example, work hard with honesty and integrity, and look after your family and friends. He loved to gather, dance, play cards, enjoy good times in between 12–16-hour days, working his business and building his dream home at the lake.

Keith’s hard work paid off as he was able to retire at the young age of 50, and he began to collect, buy, and sell stationary engines up until this day.

   Keith is survived by his loving wife Iris of 40 years, son Grant Bailey (Tammy) of Kamloops, BC, daughter Tracy Gaunt (Tim) of Seminole, Florida, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews, sister Lois Croke of San Francisco, California, brother Ken Bailey of Winnipeg, MB.

  Keith was predeceased by his parents, brother, sister-in-law, nephew, and great nephew.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and children.

 In keeping with Keith’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
