On July 1, 2021, Keith Mullin of Swan River, MB passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side at the age of 81 years.
Keith was born in Swan River, MB on May 10, 1940 to Kenneth and Mary Mullin. He attended Wildrose and Bowsman Schools and then worked on the family farm.
One weekend in 1960 he went to a Lenswood dance and there he set eyes on the love of his life, Virginia Kitzul, who was in town visiting with her friend for the weekend. He followed her to Winnipeg later that year and began working at Feed Rite Mills. They married in Foam Lake, SK on June 29th, 1963 and moved back to Bowsman to farm along side his Dad in 1965. Keith and Virginia were blessed with four children and farmed together until retiring in 2008.
Over the years, Keith was actively involved in many community organizations and activities in and around the Valley. He loved singing, curling, karaoke and travelling but most of all spending time with family and friends. He was a devoted, hardworking and loving husband who cherished every minute spent with his children, their spouses, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Socializing with family and friends was a big part of Keith’s life and he was always willing to lend a hand or an ear to anyone. He had a special gift that touched more hearts that he probably ever knew.
He will be deeply missed and is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Virginia; his children Dana Page, Brad Mullin (Coreena), Stacey Mullin (Mark) and Patrick Mullin (Dee-Ann); his grandchildren Trista Mullin (Kody), Janel Hart (Cody), Bray Mullin (Allona), Michayla Cook (Cass), Jaden Page, Lashay Slack (Scott), Cooper Page, Sean Mullin (Lily-Jean); four great-grandchildren who lovingly called him GG, Brixton and Bryelle Hart, Mila Cook and Stevie Mullin. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Liebrecht (Larry) and brother, Colin Mullin (June) as well as numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Always remembered and forever loved!!!
