1957 – 2020
Keith was the fourth born son of ten children to Ray and June tucker of Mafeking, Manitoba. He was born on April 13, 1957 in Birch River, Manitoba and raised in Mafeking. In 1980 he met Myrna Cote and they were later married on May 18, 1985. There they raised their kids and remained in Mafeking until his passing.
Keith worked many jobs throughout his life from heavy construction, to logging and driving trucks. But through all these jobs, this made him a jack of all trades; from plumbing, to carpentry, electrical work, to even fixing vehicles. Through various jobs he met the many people he would today call friends.
Growing up, Keith had played hockey for many years. He played with the Mafeking Lakers and finally with the Oldtimers. In later years, he devoted his time to working and hunting. He was an avid hunter of big game and would hunt with his son, Blaine, and wife, Myrna throughout the years. He later became a guide with his own outfitting company called Hillbilly Outfitters.
Keith was always willing to help someone out, no matter the situation. And no mater what, you would always have a laugh or two when you met him. When the grandkids came along, he always made sure they got what they asked, never letting them leave without. He was a member of the local MMF and remained there until his passing. His work around the town of Mafeking never went unnoticed as he made it his yard.
On July 21, 2020 Keith Tucker passed away at the age of 63 years. Keith will be sadly missed by his wife Myrna Tucker; three children Blaine (Cindi) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Laverne of The Pas, Manitoba, and Randy Tucker of Swan River, Manitoba; his four brothers and five sisters Ruth (Phil) Boguski of Brandon, Manitoba, Jughead/Clinton (Jen) Tucker of Regina, Saskatchewan, Dennis (Annette) Tucker of Barrows, Manitoba, Barb (Brian) Tucker of Bellsite, Manitoba, Bev (Lonnie) of Regina, Deannie (Art) of Nokomis, Saskatchewan, Lois (Mike) of Cochrane, Alberta, Lloyd of Mafeking, and Dwayne (Trina) of Kenville, Manitoba.
