Kevin Henry Sutherland
July 8, 1980 – December 27, 2020
“A hard-working, strong man with a heart of gold and helping hand.”
Suddenly on December 27, 2020 our dear Kevin was called home to be with his dad, brother, sister, and extended family.
Kevin was a very hard-working man for most of his life, working at various jobs such as diamond drilling, Keewatnook Project, hydro poles. When Kevin worked, he always provided for his family, no matter what.
Kevin enjoyed being outside with his baby Andrew, playing with his grandbabies, and cooking for his girls. He liked hunting with his bro’s. He also enjoyed having a cold one after a hard day’s work.
Kevin was a man who always had a helping hand for anyone if they needed, his kind heart and his generosity was very much noticeable with family and friends. In Kevin’s younger years he was a hockey player for Junior B hockey. He was known for his toughness, fast skating, and most of all lead scorer.
Kevin leaves to mourn his passing: his love Adrienne (whom he was to marry May 22, 2021); his daughters Presley and Jayme; his son Baby Andrew; his grandchildren Grayson, Sophia, Davian, and Joseph Jr. (He was a proud papa.); his mother Brenda; brothers Joe (Alecia), William, and Austin (Sophia); sister Deana; nephews Arion and Arysson (he loved them like his own boys); nieces Gabby, Destiny, Anna, Phoenix, Stephanie and nephew Dennis; godchildren Hazel and Rian. Kevin had a special place in his heart for his cousins Kaylynn, Felicia, Jessica and LeeAnn (He took them like his sisters); his bro’s Ryan, Les, Jamie, Neal, Charlie, and Rod. Kevin had a special bond with his Auntie Jane who he loved like a mother. He loved his family, friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kevin was predeceased by his dad Harold; brother Andrew; sister Gaylene; grandparents Florestine and William Sutherland, and Joyce and Henry Simpson; uncle Alphonse; and his special uncle Ernie Simpson.
Kevin had much respect and love for his buddy, Charlie Boucher, who he knew he could count on. Charlie took Kevin like he was his son.
You will be forever missed by family and friends.
