Lillian Bugera
1928 – 2021
On January 10, 2021 Lillian Bugera of Swan River, Manitoba, formerly of Whitebeech, Saskatchewan, passed away at the age of 92.
Lillian was born on May 19, 1928 on the farm at Whitebeech, Saskatchewan.
She attended Border Road School. After she worked on the farm, until 1950 when she married Mike Bugera. She worked on the farm with her husband. They had three children.
In 1976 she worked at the Swan Valley Hospital, in housekeeping for ten years. She retired after that and she lived on the farm. She loved gardening and crocheting. Lillian loved spending time with her grandchildren. In 2001 she lost her husband. In 2007 she moved to Swan River to the Heritage Manor, and in 2015 moved to the Personal Care Home where she lived until she passed away.
Lillian is survived by her children, John (Carolyn) Bugera, David Bugera, Marilyn (Danny) Kostur; her grandchildren, Scott (Tracie) Bugera, Tim Bugera, and Derek Kostur all of Regina, Saskatchewan, Carla McDill of Saltcoats, Saskatchewan, and Mitchell (Carrera) Kostur of Calgary, Alberta; four great grandchildren, Jacob, Marcus, Jeff, and Quinn; sister in law Pauline Shevernoha; and all her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Mike Bugera, parents Mike and Mary Shevernoha; brothers Joe Shevernoha, John Shevernoha, Adam Shevernoha; sister Dora Burtnack; sisters in law Nellie Shevernoha, and Edna Shevernoha; and brother in law Steve Burtnack.
She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
