Lyle Leroy Hart
1948 -2020
On December 27, 2020, Lyle Leroy Hart passed away to be with Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Lyle was 72 years of age and resided in the Swan River Valley Personal Care Home in Swan River, Manitoba until his passing. Lyle’s unshakeable faith in the Lord guided him throughout his life. Lyle was a very gentle, exceptionally kind person who genuinely enriched the lives of everyone around him. Lyle had a lifelong love of music and played many musical instruments. He also had a lifelong love for animals.
Born on July 15, 1948 to Oscar and Angilina (Meroniuk) Hart, Lyle was their eldest son of five children. Lyle married Viola Margaret Doroshuk on June 6, 1969 and together they raised three daughters.
Lyle was educated in Minitonas, Manitoba. At an early age, Lyle was interest in the mechanics of how this worked. As a young man, Lyle spent time at the local auto repair shops, learning how to repair vehicles. Lyle began repairing vehicles on his own much to the delight of his man satisfied customers, and eventually opened Hart’s Transmission specializing in transmission repairs. Lyle owned a heavy equipment business and worked on a bulldozer clearing brush land intended for farming and community pastures in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. He also built the foundation of streets for a housing development in Swan River. Lyle also worked as a heavy-duty equipment operator as part of highway construction crews in Manitoba and Ontario.
Lyle found another kindred spirit and soulmate in Kim Marie Todosichuk. From the time they first met ten years ago, they were inseparable and on October 27, 2017, formerly married.
Lyle was predeceased by Oscar Hart, his father; and by Margaret Hart, his first wife.
Deeply cherishing Lyle’s memory is his most beloved wife, Kim Todosichuk. Lyle will also be remembered by his mother, Angilina Hart; his siblings Carol (Bill) Kroets, David Hart, Patricia (Dave) Lyster and Dennis (Carolyn) Hart; his children Tracy Gigun (David Hickman), Tricia (Kirby) McKay, and Lorie (Darcy) Medwid; by his grandchildren Ashely, Gerald and Nicholas Gigun, Brenna (Mike) Gray, Kirby McKay Jr., Chloe, Christina, and Cole Medwid; and by his great grandchildren. Many cousins, nephews, nieces, and other extended family members and friends will deeply miss Lyle.
