Mary Agnes Richard

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of  Mary Agnes Richard (Super Gran) from Swan River, Manitoba. She passed away peacefully at Swan Valley Hospital on July 14, 2025, at the age of 83 years old.

Mary Agnes Richard leaves to mourn are her partner Garry Tulman, children Alvin (Karen), Caroline (Dale), May (Pierre), Julie (Frank), Angela (Scott) and Maxine (Matthew), 28 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and by her sisters Beatrice, Yvonne, Dolores and Suzanne.

Predeceased by her first husband Alex Richard, daughter Mildred, her parents Raphael Nepinak and Marie Louise Chartrand, along with numerous brothers, sisters and cousins.

Mary Agnes was known as “Super Gran” loved her bingo – NCI/Kinsmen, her favorite was Tim Horton’s coffee and plain donuts. She loved to cook, bake, gardening, and pick berries. She cherished her family, loved to joke, laugh and have fun. She will be greatly missed by all.

In her early years, in Portage la Prairie, she worked at McCain’s, Jeffries Brothers Farms and other jobs throughout her life.
