Patricia Blaylock Obituary

Patricia Marlene Blaylock

1952 - 2025

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Patricia Marlene Blaylock. A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She peacefully passed away August 22,2025, at the age of 73. Born on February 4, 1952, Pat lived a life filled with love, faith, and countless cherished memories.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband Lorne and their two beloved sons, Douglas and Marty. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and she held a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews. Pat’s family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

A dedicated member of the community, she was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on September 8, 1976. Her faith in Jehovah was the guiding light in her life, along with her hope in his kingdom promises. Her bible training and principals shaped her into the compassionate woman that all who knew her admired, and her kindness touched the lives of many.  It also helped her to form deep connections with her spiritual brothers and sisters.

Pat had a zest for life that was evident in her many passions. She loved fishing, playing cards, sharing her faith with others, and taking long drives throughout the valley where she found peace and joy in Jehovah’s creations.

Pat had a certificate as a home care attendant, and with this she dedicated herself to helping others. She also ran her own successful cleaning business “Pat’s cleaning”, where she took pride in her work and the relationships she built with her clients.

Pat was predeceased by her beloved parents, Stan and Inez Mault, who instilled in her the values of love and compassion that she carried throughout her life.

Her warmth, generosity and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Pat had the unique ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, and this will be remembered forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Pat‘s life was held on Friday, August 29 at 1 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to the charity of your choice.
