Rosemarie Mydynski
1948 - 2023
Rosemarie Mydynski (née Panagabko) left this earth to go to her new home with Jesus on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Rose was born on June 28, 1948 and was raised on the family farm near the Arran-Vesna area. She started her education at Vesna School and finished in Arran, Saskatchewan. She then entered the work force and was employed by the Saskatchewan Government Telephone in Regina as an operator.
Rose married the love of her life Lawrence Mydynski on July 8, 1967. In 1968 they moved from Regina back to Arran and she started her career as a full-time homemaker. After their children were all in school, she took on employment at the meat abattoir in Benito where she retired from.
Religion, culture, and family were at the forefront of Rose’s life. She was an active parishioner of Saint Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vesna, Saskatchewan. She found strength in her never-ending unwavering faith and passed it on to everyone she met.
Rose enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, and singing along with many other things. Her love for helping others was of the utmost importance to her. Her selflessness was something that she will be remembered for by all who met her. It made her heart full to be able to help anyone that she could. St. Michaels' camp held a special place in her heart, and she spent many summers there preparing meals for the kids. She enjoyed seeing them have an opportunity to embrace their religion.
Rose was predeceased by her parents Charles and Miriam Panagabko and her brothers Herman, Rudy, and David. Rose will be greatly missed by her husband Lawrence and children Grant, Shawn (Tina), Jason (Sheree), Lana (Doug); brother Henry (Theresa) Panagabko; sister Theresa Fenuik; grandchildren Megan (Brydon) and Matthew; step grandchildren Kobe (Taleah), Tierra (Eric), Lyndsay (David); great grandchildren Emmett, Peyton, Emmett, Austin, Henri, and Jacques; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Rose was a wife, mother, and friend to all. The caring nature, generosity and love she had for others was unmatched. She was faithful to her Lord, and after so much suffering, she now rests in peace.
