Wayne Robert Behrman
1948-2024
On Wednesday January 31st, 2024. Wayne Robert Behrman of Minitonas, MB suddenly passed away at the age of 75.
Wayne was born on October 26th, 1948, in Birch River, MB to parents, Edward and Helen Behrman and was raised with his siblings Gerald, Geraldine, and Elaine.
Wayne was eager to get out into the world, once finishing school, he moved to Thompson, MB and worked with Midwest Drilling, making many lifelong friendships while working on the drills and sharing many fond memories.
Wayne enjoyed many outdoor hobbies. He loved the thrill of hunting for all types of wild game and spending time out with the boys. Wayne also enjoyed camping and fishing, every year he applied for a seasonal lot at North Steep Rock Lake in the Porcupine Mountains, he made sure there was always a cold one for anyone who would stop by. Everyone was always welcome to sit by his campfire, if you were lucky enough, he would share his favorite fishing spots.
It was in Thompson, MB, that Wayne met his spouse. Shirley Deschene and her three children Warren, Mary, and John. Wayne and Shirley later relocated to the Swan Valley.
Wayne was survived by his two loving sons Myron Behrman (Bonnie Ellison); of Sherwood Park AB, Darcy Behrman (Cori); of Brandon, MB. 3 grandchildren Alexander, Ryan, and Lindsey. Siblings
Gerald (Josie) Behrman, Geraldine (Darryl) Edmonds and Elaine Radwanski. Stepsons Warren Emberton, and John Deschene, Step grandchildren Taylor, Maya, Cole, and Mason. Wayne had nine nieces and nephews and their extended families, several cousins, and numerous friends.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents. Edward and Helen Behrman, spouse Shirley Deschene, stepdaughter Mary Deschene, and brother-in-law Ed Radwanski.
